Salvador Navarrete has always created space for things to exist in curious friction. The release of his debut album Salvador in 2020 and its successor, Romeo, presented a reinvention of dance music driven by a kind of dream logic — something that confuses the mind but makes sense to the body. Even when stretching synthesizers to their shimmering extremes, pursuing a vision of a future we haven’t yet reached, his voice remains tender and undefined, like the outline of a memory.
