Roda De Santo
Roda de Santo is a musical group formed in Lisbon in 2021 by Brazilian artists based in Portugal. The collective’s purpose is to celebrate terreiro music and Afro-diasporic traditions, such as Umbanda and Candomblé, preserving their foundations while engaging with contemporary sounds. Composed of Alvaro Lancellotti, Karla da Silva, Sara Cabral, Juninho Ibituruna, and Bartolo, the group combines traditional percussion, chants, handclaps, and electronic elements, creating an aesthetic that connects ancestry with innovation.
