HAUSE PLANTS

In 2022, a few months after forming Hause Plants, Guilherme Machado Correia moved to Brooklyn with Dani Oliveira, Janny Silva, and João Simões to pursue their dream of making music and living in a big city. Hause Plants quickly found their place on the local New York scene, releasing their debut EP Sleeping With Weird People on the Spirit Goth label and playing at several iconic venues in the city.

Over the next two years, splitting their time between Lisbon and Madrid, the band toured extensively, playing all over Europe and the United States. During this period, Guilherme Machado Correia worked intensely until he began to lose faith in the music industry, coming into conflict with the band’s role in the world and his place as a young adult.

In 2025, Guilherme returned to the studio alone, rethinking the band’s identity and exploring a sound closer to dance punk and pop. The result is Shake The Empty Feeling, the band’s debut album, produced by Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor, Hinds). Scheduled for release in early 2026, it is an album about friendship, partying, fun, and growing up in a healthy way, proving that Hause Plants are one of the most entertaining, exciting, and creative bands of the moment.
