Ciranda: Jogo de Palavra Falada (Ciranda: Spoken Word Game) is a poetry event, created in 2018, loosely inspired by the poetry slam format. Each participant represents a deceased writer and, in three rounds, gives presentations/readings of up to three minutes each. Ciranda proposes a rapprochement and friction between tradition and contemporaneity; it was created with the aim of reviving the memory of texts that have left important legacies, bringing the power of the voices of contemporary people to make them present. In addition to the texts, the presentation includes short biographies of those being read, as well as presenting the work of those who read. The meetings are conducted by poets Anna Zêpa and Maria Giulia Pinheiro, creators of the event, who use the spoken word as part of their research in literature.
In this edition, the participants are: Gonçalo Antunes, Marina Campanatti, Namíbia Kaiowá, and Zeus Atro.
Event limited to room capacity
