A.A. Williams

After her debut at the prestigious Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands, A.A. Williams quickly established herself as one of the most captivating voices in contemporary heavy music. Tours with Cult of Luna, Explosions In The Sky, Russian Circles, Sleep Token, and The Sisters of Mercy followed, as well as headline shows – including at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall. Her albums Forever Blue (2020) and As The Moon Rests (2022) were widely acclaimed, placing her among a new generation of artists who blend folk, emotional intensity, and dense atmospheres with a progressive approach.

A session at BBC Maida Vale further reinforced her recognition. She also released notable side projects: Exit In Darkness with Japanese band MONO; Songs From Isolation, a covers album praised by Robert Smith and Billy Corgan; and arco (2021), where she reimagined her debut EP for string ensemble. Following her Portuguese debut in 2022 (with MONO and at Amplifest), A.A. Williams returns with a new album: February 13 at Casa Capitão (Lisbon) and February 14 at Mouco (Porto).
